Todd Bird is a New York City-based songwriter who has been writing professionally since 2004. At that time, he received his first taste of success when he collaborated on a song entitled "Dreaming", which is featured on the Merchant Ivory film soundtrack "Heights" (distributed by Tommy Boy Records).
Over the years, Todd has worked with singer/songwriter extraordinaire Galia Arad ("The Crash"), 2-time Grammy winner, Chris Trevett, who has over 100 million records sold, and has co-written with producer/songwriter Frankie Vinci on the heartwrenching R&B track entitled "I Blame My Heart", as well as "Nothing into Love", the catchy teen song entitled "Rainin' Sunshine" and others. Frankie has written for Tim McGraw and is best known for composing the CBS NFL Super Bowl theme song.
Recently, Todd co-wrote a song entitled "I Lost a Friend", with artist Nik Miles. This song is about losing a friend on Facebook and searching for answers. A lyric video was created first to test the market for the song. The song has a sombre feel and it's only until the first chorus that the Facebook connection is even revealed. This was intentional. Of course, if you are reading this first...ummm....spoiler alert?
